7. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Technologies

Yes. We use cookies and similar technologies (including tags, pixels, local storage and software development kits) on wabpo.com. This section explains exactly which ones, what they do, and how to control them.

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work — security, load balancing, remembering your language and your cookie choice itself. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
  • Analytics. Help us understand which pages are useful, how visitors arrive, and where the experience breaks. These run only where permitted, and are subject to your choice in our cookie banner.
  • Advertising and measurement. Used to measure the performance of our marketing and, where enabled, to show you WABPO ads on third-party platforms and measure whether those ads led to a signup. These are optional.

Your choices and consent

When you first visit wabpo.com you are shown a cookie banner where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. We operate Google Consent Mode v2: before you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default, and advertising data is redacted. Tags may load in a cookieless mode that sends aggregated measurement signals without storing identifiers on your device.

You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser, which will show the banner again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal and private browsing modes. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

Third-party technologies on this website

The providers below may receive technical data such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring URL, and interactions with our pages. Each acts under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Tag Manager (Google) — a tag management container used to load and control the measurement tags listed here. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google) — website analytics: pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location derived from IP, and events such as clicking a signup button. We use cross-domain measurement between wabpo.com and my.wabpo.com so a visit that becomes a signup is counted once. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — measures whether visits and signups came from our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and may be used to build advertising audiences. The Meta Pixel can set cookies and share event data with Meta, which may match it to a Facebook or Instagram account where one exists. See Meta's Privacy Policy and manage your ad preferences in Meta Accounts Center.
  • Google Ads conversion measurement (Google) — where advertising consent is given, used to measure conversions from Google advertising.
  • DataFast — privacy-focused website analytics used alongside Google Analytics for aggregate traffic reporting.
  • Tolt — affiliate tracking, used to attribute a signup to the partner who referred you so that referral commissions can be paid correctly.
  • YouTube (Google) — embedded product videos. We load these in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after you click play, so YouTube does not receive data about you until you choose to watch.
  • WABPO chat widget (my.wabpo.com) — our own in-product chat and support widget.

We may add, replace or remove providers over time. Material changes will be reflected in this section and in the “Last updated” date above.

International transfers

Several of these providers are based outside your country and may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions. We rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers of personal data outside the EEA and UK.

8. Data Deletion Request

If you wish to request the deletion of your personal data from WABPO or any data related to your Facebook subscriptions, you can follow the procedure outlined below:

Requesting Data Deletion

Platform Data Deletion: To request the deletion of your account or any personal data collected by WABPO, please contact us at support@wabpo.com. Include your account information and specify that you would like your data to be deleted.

Facebook Data: If you have linked your Facebook account to WABPO, and you wish to request the deletion of your data related to your Facebook account, you can request this by contacting Facebook directly via their Help Center. Additionally, if you wish to remove Facebook data from WABPO, please send us a request, and we will initiate the process on your behalf.

Verification Process

For security purposes, we may require you to verify your identity before processing the data deletion request. This ensures that only the rightful account owner can request data deletion.

Data Deletion Timeline

Once the request is submitted and verified, we will process it within a reasonable time frame, typically within 30 days. Please note that data deletion may not be immediate and certain backup data may remain for compliance or technical reasons.

Important Considerations

  • Deleting your data may result in the loss of certain services tied to your account.
  • We may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including security and fraud prevention.

For any further questions about data deletion or if you need assistance with this process, please contact us directly at support@wabpo.com.
